TRITON AL99 Phosphate Remover

TRITON AL99 is a high-purity, aluminium-based filtration media designed to reduce phosphate in marine and reef aquariums. With a purity greater than 99%, it provides targeted phosphate removal while also removing barium and silicate.

Part of the TRITON Treatments range, AL99 is quality controlled to minimise the risk of introducing unwanted contaminants into your aquarium.

Directions for use

• Rinse with RO/DI water before use.
• Add 50mL per 100L of aquarium water to an upflow reactor.
• Set the flow very low, keeping the media stationary. Do not allow it to tumble.
• Check phosphate levels daily using a reliable phosphate test to monitor the reduction.

When to replace

Replace the media monthly, or sooner if phosphate levels begin to rise. Adjust use according to your test results to avoid reducing phosphate below your intended range.
