TRITON Alkalinity Increaser

TRITON Alkalinity Increaser is a high-purity sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO₃) powder designed to raise alkalinity in marine and reef aquariums. Packed in-house and tested by TRITON Lab, it provides a practical option for correcting low alkalinity and supporting ongoing supplementation.

Alkalinity supports the formation of calcium carbonate skeletons in stony corals and other calcifying organisms, while helping seawater resist changes in pH. As your reef grows, regular testing and supplementation help maintain stable levels.

Suitable for 2-Part, 3-Part and other DIY supplementation methods, this product can be used with or without the TRITON System.

Directions for use

3g raises alkalinity by approximately 1dKH in 100L of aquarium water.

• Test your aquarium’s alkalinity and calculate the required amount based on your actual water volume.
• Dissolve the powder completely in RO/DI water.
• Slowly add the solution to a high-flow area of your sump or aquarium.
• Allow several hours for mixing before retesting and assessing whether further supplementation is needed.

Base additions on test results, and make larger corrections gradually to avoid sudden changes in alkalinity.
