TRITON Magnesium Increaser is a high-purity magnesium chloride hexahydrate powder designed to raise magnesium levels in marine and reef aquariums. Packed in-house and tested by TRITON Lab, it offers a practical option for DIY supplementation, including larger systems with higher magnesium requirements.

Magnesium helps maintain balanced reef chemistry by limiting the unwanted precipitation of calcium carbonate. Maintaining an appropriate magnesium level supports your ability to keep calcium and alkalinity stable.

Suitable for 2-Part, 3-Part and other DIY supplementation methods, this product can be used with or without the TRITON System.

Directions for use

8.4g raises magnesium by approximately 10ppm in 100L of aquarium water.

• Test your aquarium’s magnesium level and calculate the required amount based on your actual water volume.
• Dissolve the powder completely in RO/DI water.
• Slowly add the solution to a high-flow area of your sump or aquarium.
• Allow several hours for mixing before retesting and assessing whether further supplementation is needed.

Base additions on test results, and make larger corrections gradually.
