Rapid Targeted Treatment for Aiptasia & Majano Anemones

Aiptasia Rx is a fast-acting, highly concentrated treatment designed to eliminate unwanted Aiptasia and Majano anemones directly at the source. Unlike diluted alternatives that disperse into the water column, Aiptasia Rx is formulated to stay exactly where it’s applied—delivering precise, controlled results within minutes.

Engineered for reef aquariums where accuracy matters, it works by coating and sealing the anemone, preventing the release of planulae and reducing the risk of further spread during treatment.

Why Use Aiptasia Rx?

Aiptasia and Majano anemones are among the most persistent pests in reef systems. Once established, they can rapidly multiply, sting nearby corals, and outcompete desirable inhabitants.

Aiptasia Rx is designed to solve the problem at its root:

  • Rapidly neutralises Aiptasia and Majano on contact
  • Thick, high-density formula stays in place under flow
  • Seals the oral disc to help prevent reproduction during treatment
  • Highly targeted application reduces impact on surrounding coral and livestock
  • Visible results typically within minutes

Key Features

Ultra-Concentrated Formula
Formulated to be one of the strongest targeted treatments available, ensuring effective results with minimal dosing.

Precision Application
Designed for direct injection or placement onto the anemone, allowing controlled treatment even in high-flow reef environments.

Flow-Resistant Adhesion
The dense consistency helps the product remain on the target organism instead of dispersing into the aquarium water.

Fast Acting
Aiptasia begins to react within minutes, reducing the need for repeated applications in most cases.

How It Works

Aiptasia Rx works through direct contact. When applied carefully onto the oral disc of the anemone, the dense solution adheres and begins breaking down the tissue while simultaneously sealing the opening. This helps prevent the release of internal cells that could lead to further spread.

Because of its targeted nature, surrounding corals and livestock are minimally affected when used correctly.

Best Practice Tips

  • Treat only visible anemones during each session
  • Avoid disturbing or scraping Aiptasia before application
  • Use spot treatment rather than broadcast dosing
  • Monitor nearby coral for incidental contact and adjust application accordingly
