Elegance Corals (Cataphyllia jardinei) are spectacular LPS corals renowned for their long flowing tentacles, vibrant colours, and impressive size. Despite their delicate appearance, they are hardy when kept in a mature, stable reef aquarium and make a stunning centrepiece for any display.

For best results, place your Elegance Coral on a sandy substrate under low to moderate lighting with gentle, indirect water flow that allows the tentacles to move naturally. Feed 1–2 times per week with meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, chopped squid, or quality LPS pellets to promote healthy growth, vibrant colouration, and full tissue expansion. Allow plenty of space around your Elegance Coral, as its long sweeper tentacles can sting neighbouring corals. Maintain stable water parameters with a temperature of 23–28°C, salinity of 1.023–1.026, pH of 8.1–8.4, alkalinity of 8–12 dKH, calcium between 400–450 ppm, magnesium between 1250–1350 ppm, and low but measurable nutrients for long-term success.
