Scoly Corals are among the most sought-after LPS corals, renowned for their vibrant colours, intricate patterns, and fleshy appearance. Hardy when kept in stable reef conditions, they make an exceptional showpiece and are well suited to both beginner and experienced reef keepers.

For best results, place your Scoly Coral directly on a sandy substrate under low to moderate lighting (50–150 PAR) with gentle, indirect water flow. Feed 2–3 times per week with meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, or quality coral foods to promote healthy growth, vibrant colouration, and full tissue expansion. Leave plenty of space around your Scoly, as it can extend sweeper tentacles to defend its territory. Maintain stable water parameters with a temperature of 24–26°C, salinity of 1.024–1.026, alkalinity of 8–11 dKH, calcium between 380–430 ppm, magnesium between 1250–1350 ppm, and low but measurable nutrients for long-term success.
